Invitation Only Auctions!
Our public Super Auctions run 4 times a year and can draw a large crowd. Sometimes the bidding can get a bit out of hand and our "Club Members" miss out on items they really want and/or need. Since our "Club Members" are the ones that keep this auction going and increasing in size (due to word of mouth and repeat business) we thank them by holding a private "Invitation Only" auction once a year in the Spring. At an Invitation Only auction we only allow our "Club Members" to participate. Usually 15 to 25 show up to bid. This means that the prices tend not to skyrocket with the majority of items selling at the reserve price.
These auctions are smaller in other ways too. There are only about 2,000 to 2500 items listed instead of the 3500 to 4000 items that are normally found at a Super Auction.
How to become a "Club Member"!
There is only one way actually...
For those of you who have attended and won at our auction 5 times (or more) you are eligible to join the Members Only Club. Being a club member means that you have access to any auction with or without an invitation. If you are eligible and would like to be a member please notify the auctioneer so you can be put on the Club Member list. If you do not know if you are eligible e-mail the auctioneer and your bidding history will be looked up. There is no cost to join. Only eligible people are allowed in the club. Sorry!
Note: If you are not sure if you are a Club Member or not be sure to check out the Club Member List (list is updated once a year in the early Spring).
The dates of the invitation only auctions will be listed on The Auctioneer's Corner well in advance of the auctions.

Note To Non-Club members- Don't despair! Our quarterly Public Super Auctions are for everyone and you are welcome to come and bid at any or all of them.
-NOTES ABOUT BIDDING-
Winning Bids:
When attending a Super Auction you are bidding against 85 to 175 other people. You will probably not win all your bids. If you are at an "Invitation Only" auction you probably will win a great deal of your bids as you are only bidding against 15-25 other people. Be careful about setting too many bids at an "Invitation Only" auction expecting to lose most of them- you wont! At the end of the auction you could be very surprised with size of your Grand Total!
The same thing goes for the Super Auction. Be sure to bid on a number of items so you are not stuck with a huge shipping vs. product cost if you only win 1-3 items. Even if you use Proxy Bidding it is best to check in at the last minute on Sunday to see that you have won enough items to make it worth while.
